"A candle loses nothing of its light by lighting another candle."

Words are very powerful. Watch the 2 minute video below and think about this idea.
Words have the power to motivate, inspire, challenge, and encourage. Of course, they can have the opposite effect as well.
I challenge you today to measure your words - both to others and to yourself. Speak a word today that will encourage and uplift!
Go..do it!

I saw your blog post on Michael Hyatt this morning and decided to visit your new blog. It's a great beginning. I put the same WORDS video you have up on my blog a few weeks ago.
I started using POSTEROUS.com for my blogs 18 months ago. It's FREE and GREAT and I thought I would pass it on to you. It has much more functionality than BLOGGER. You can have have a PUBLIC or password protected site.
Jim Rohn says “Success is not something we pursue, it something we attract by the person we become”. Your obviously doing that as a teacher and you’ll do the same with your new blog if you stick to it.
Read Seth’s Godin’s other book, “The Dip”. It’s GREAT as well.
Happy day,
Chris
Hello, Jason! I read your comment today on Mike Hyatt's blog, and I decided to check yours out. I, too, am a newbie blogger and have stepped out of my comfort zone. I'm getting the hang of it now, but it was certainly a challenge in the beginning. I loved your post on your mother. And your Blog is super! Congrats!
Blessings to you in your writing endeavors!
Chris & Cynthia,
Thank you both for the kind comments. Chris, I will take a look at Posterous. Also, I will definitely read The Dip.
Cynthia, thanks for the encouragement. My mother is very special!
